Our customer in Lane Cove contacted Overhead Electrical unsure if they had safety switches installed and while on site mentioned they felt electrical tingling sensation when touching taps & when in the shower.We had found the 1950’s house had an old corroded water pipe connection which was very outdated & the main neutral connection in the switchboard was undersized and had started to burn. They had limited circuit protection and conducted a free safety inspection and we both agreed the switchboard and electrical equipment needed some TLC.
Solution:
- Switchboard overhaul, new Hager safety switches on all circuits.
- New single phase 16mm consumer mains.
- New galvanised custom switchboard enclosure.
- New 6mm earth electrode and water pipe bond connection.
