What type of light globe is the most energy efficient? 

LED light globes are the most energy efficient light globes. The reason being that they provide a better, brighter light at a lower price. Halogen globes on the other hand, use 6x more energy than an LED light.

While LEDs might cost slightly more to buy initially, they will save you money in the long run due to reduced power bills and less frequent maintenance requirements. Usually, an LED globe will come with a 3-7 year replacement warranty.  

How do I stop my smoke alarm from beeping?

A smoke alarm will beep when it detects smoke or when a battery needs to be replaced. In most cases, you can simply replace a battery that is low with a new one. However, smoke alarms may also beep due to other power supply issues. Always check your fire alarms regularly and be sure to install new batteries periodically.
